When people have addictions or are facing chronic pain, they’re more likely to get involved in drug trade. Selling drugs can sometimes be easy money if people don’t get caught,hy so it’s easy to remain in that lifestyle.
Unfortunately, if you’re caught selling or distributing drugs, you can face significant charges. For example, take this case involving a 39-year-old man. It’s claimed that he sold so many kinds of drugs that his clients nicknamed him a pharmacy. He and seven alleged co-conspirators were recently arrested and charged.
It’s claimed by investigators that the man sold numerous types of drugs including methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine. The sales supposedly took place across Wisconsin in several counties including Milwaukee, Shawano, Forest and Winnebago.
The criminal complaint states that the man would purchase the drugs in Milwaukee and then sell them in Shawano, where they’d be distributed. Some of the properties that were used to house the drugs and to sell them from were located near grade schools, which could increase the charges. In all, eight people have now been charged in relation to this so-called drug ring.
If you are charged with a drug crime, you’re not alone. You could face harsh penalties that could impact your life. It is important not to ignore the threat that charges pose to your life. A good defense will help you protect your interests and make sure you’re treated fairly. With the right help, it’s possible to get through this difficult time and to reduce the impact any drug charges has on your life.
