Neck and back injuries can change your life. What are the symptoms of back and neck injuries?

Back and neck injuries lead to many symptoms. Some may not show up right away due to the adrenaline in the person's system caused by the trauma they went through. Some symptoms that may emerge include:

Immediately after suffering an obvious back injury, the emergency team will likely place you on a board and splint the injured areas including your spine and neck. This is to prevent movement during transport from the scene of the injury to the hospital and to reduce the likelihood of further damage caused by movement. Once at the hospital, the medical provider you see can let you know how significant your injuries are. You may need to stay overnight or be taken to surgery in severe cases.
