Shot up F-150 Leads Police to Drugs, Milwaukee Rapper Arrested

On Jan. 21, police found a stolen F-150 on the side of Vliet Street. There were bullet casings near the vehicle, and the driver's side had bullet marks. The owner of the truck reported it stolen in December and the license plate on it wasn't the correct plate. Police note that drug dealers often switch license plates when they drive a stolen vehicle to try to throw police officers off. The 20-year-old Milwaukee rapper wasn't in the vehicle. Police found evidence that linked him to the truck, including his fingerprints. There was a claim ticket in the truck with the rapper's phone number, as well as his stage name, "Montana." The glove box contained 29 copies of his album. Police also found a bulletproof vest, heroin, cocaine and Lactose powder in the vehicle. Even with this alleged evidence, the rapper might still opt to fight against the charges.

Two People in Wisconsin Facing Serious Charges for Drug Crimes

A recent Monday morning was anything but peaceful for a man and woman who live together in Wisconsin. At approximately 10 a.m., police came to their home and began searching for drugs. On a recent Thursday, just after 4.pm., a man was pulled over by police on a Wisconsin road. The officer asserts that the man was traveling at an excessive rate of speed. As events unfolded, the man's situation became more problematic as he wound up facing charges for drug crimes in addition to incurring a speeding ticket. There were apparently two occupants in the vehicle when the officer approached and said he smelled a strong odor of marijuana. A police officer says he saw a woman that he knew had used drugs in the past and followed her to the home to investigate possible drug crimes. The police officer later said he was approaching the woman to speak with her as she made her way to the door of the home in question. Supposedly, as he did so, a bunch of people started coming out of the home and fleeing the area, some on bicycles and others on foot. The officer said one man dropped various drug paraphernalia items, as well as methamphetamine and marijuana as he attempted to ride away on a bicycle; the officer stopped and detained the man. Several other incidents followed during the next two weeks, including an alleged informant told police that he had purchased drugs from two people at the house and that one of the men had held a gun to another person's head. Police wound up returning to the residence for a search. During the process, an officer seized one person's cell phone and said a text message came across the screen that appeared to be an inquiry about a potential drug sale. Officers say they found illegal drugs inside the cell phone owner's sock. All told, after searching the premises, police made five arrests.
